I’ve always loved watches and have a nice little collection. I don’t own anything super expensive, I’m more interested in the unique, well made, conversation starters, or watches I just generally enjoy wearing because they’re fun and unique. This one fits right in very nicely and I find myself choosing it often. Overall, I’m really impressed with the materials packed into this watch for the price! First, a nice automatic movement that keeps good time and has a reserve of about two days. Second, not one, but two sapphire crystals, front and back, so you can see the beautiful automatic movement. Third, a hefty brushed stainless steel case with a pretty coin edge crown. Fourth, a sturdy but soft high quality quick release leather band. And I haven’t even gotten to the watch face yet! The laser cut discs are impeccable and so mesmerizing to look at! I find myself staring at them, and it’s actually really easy to tell time on. There are a couple small things that aren’t perfect but I’m overwhelmingly happy with this watch. First, the crown is very hard to pull out. So tough that I have to use a tool, like the edge of a plastic card, to pull it out. Mildly annoying. I’m hoping that over time it might loosen up. Second, the alignment is slightly off. So when the minute hand is straight up at the 12 o’clock position, the hour hand is slightly off center of the hour marker on the dial. Again, mildly annoying. And third, and this is just personal preference or opinion, the case is a bit angular and industrial looking- especially the lugs. The edges could be slightly rounded. They almost look like they might be uncomfortable but they’re not. So, there are a couple picky little things that don’t bother me very much, but overall, I’m overwhelmingly happy with this watch and the quality for the price and I enjoy owning and wearing it very much!
